An excellent example of ways to grab customers attention and to market to them in a way that encourages them to buy at a certain time is Krispy Kreme’s neon Hot Light sign. Their Hot Light turns on during certain hours of the day and night, signaling to passers-by in-the-know that their doughnuts are fresh right at that moment. Developed in direct responce to noticing that they sell more doughnuts when they are freshly made than at any other time. So why not tell customers about it.
